Up to £25,000* cash payment... Only £5.95 a month for a woman aged 35 - 39 - that's the equivalent of just 20p a day!
If diagnosed with a gender-specific cancer, sufferers could be faced with all kinds of worries and difficult decisions to make. It may be hard to find time to rest during treatment while trying to juggle the demands of work and family life.
What is needed is support, both financial and emotional.
The WellWoman Plan provides financial support if diagnosed with a gender-specific cancer and an extensive practical and emotional support service through the WellWoman Care Advisory Service - to help through those tough times.
The plan is called the "WellWoman Plan" but it is available to both women and men, covering breast cancer and 6 other female-specific and 3 other male-specific cancers. The plan pays £25,000 upon diagnosis of a gender specific cancer or carcinoma in situ of the breast and up to £1,000 for certain female specific early diagnosed cancers, which have not yet spread, and which can be treated by day surgery, the benefit payable would be £1,000
The single cash sum can be used however you wish, so in the short term it could help pay for things like:
- the mortgage or bills when time is taken off work for treatment
- childcare or a home help for rest and recovery
- extra costs associated with daily visits to hospital, involving travelling and parking
- treatment or drugs not available on the NHS
- new clothes or little luxuries to help lift spirits
- a holiday to help recuperation
Add a male or female partner and enjoy a £3 per month reduction to the standard premium rate shown.
